idiot -
a foolish person, one who plays jazz

Chris Krabacher

Chris "the thin Buddha" Krabacher is known to spout random philosophical and spiritual idioms to perfectly good strangers as well as the band. You can find Chris without malice or forethought howling at the moon - even when it is not there. The stage sage smudging 4/5 stringer of Influx (try and say that 10 times fast) is the only band memeber that is "native" of Colorado and was actually in Aspen when it was a cool place to hang out. He is a proud grandfather, a lover of life, love, and the pursuit of peace. He loves playing music and is grateful to share his sense of self through his bass.

Jason McGlynn

Jason "that's a heck of a note" McGlynn is a man that is a comfortable on either side of the Mason-Dixon line. You may find Jason sitting on the ice, jigging for walleye while tossin down a pot of mudbugs an sippin on his mint-julep or laying on a beach in the Keys listening to "Roll Out the Barrel" and drinking PBR. JM has been playing music since elementary school and after an eight year hernia (or was it hiatus?), he started playing his axe again with a more enthusiastic fervor than ever. One might say that he is inclined to kick butt and then take names when taking a solo. Jason pushes the improve envelope in Influx.

Duane
Moore

Duane "Animal" Moore is known to enjoy banging heads with sticks and long brushes. He is so adept that he leaves nary a mark, ding or divot. You may also find Duane standing in running water waving a graphite stick in hopes that Ku'ula will bless him with a prize (come on ... check it out with Google). Duane has been playing drums since 1974 -- only 2 years earlier than Animal on "the Muppets"... so it begs to be asked - who influenced whom? Duane manages to keep Influx in rhythm through temporal coercion as well as a pleasant smile... both of which creates the backbone of the Influx sound.

Tim
Currey

Tim "knucklehead" Currey is the village idiot!
